Ghee Biscuits in pressure cooker | Ghee cookies without oven | 3 Ingredient cookies recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Learn how to make ghee biscuits in pressure cooker with just three ingredients. Ghee biscuits are delicious melt in mouth cookies which is very simple to make. It is one of the famous cookies available in bakeries. I have fond memories of eating these biscuits in childhood and we always find these in any tea shops.
Whenever I post some baking recipes, few of my friends asked how they can make these without oven. So I tried making these simple cookies using pressure cooker and they came out so good. Method is so simple and you just need pressure cooker or any pan with lid. There is no need to use sand or salt as base. We need only plate with holes which is given along with cooker to use as base. We can use any plate with holes as along as there is little gap between cooker and plate to allow heat. It should not be lying flat. You can bake any cookies or cake using the same method.

Ingredients
- Maida 1/2 cup
- Ghee 3 tbsp
- Powdered sugar 3 tbsp
Instructions
- Take 1/2 cup maida in a bowl
- Add powdered sugar to it and mix nicely.
- Then add the ghee
- Mix nicely to form the dough.
- Take small ball of the dough and shape them as you like. I shaped them as square
- Line the baking tray with parchment paper.
- Place the cookies in the tray.
- Take pressure cooker and place the plate in the bottom.
- Remove the gasket and whistle
- Close the cooker lid and preheat in medium flame for 7-10 minutes.
- Then place the baking tray in cooker
- Bake in low flame for 15-18 minutes till it the bottom is slightly browned.
- Cool the biscuits and enjoy them for Tea
- Yummy Ghee biscuits is ready.
Notes
If you are baking in oven, preheat the oven at 180°C and bake in the same temperature for 15 minutes till the sides brown.
Baking time can vary between different oven and thickness of cookies. So always keep an eye after 15 minutes.
Cookies always looks soft while taking out and later becomes firm
Be careful while taking or placing the baking tray in cooker. Don't use gasket and whistle.
We can use normal pan with lid instead of cooker.
How to make Ghee Biscuits with step by step pictures
