Kathirikai Murungakkai Mangai Sambar Recipe | Drumstick Brinjal Mango Sambar recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Kathirikai murungakkai mangai sambar is delicious south Indian sambar made with drumstick, brinjal and raw mango along with dal and spices. This is one of the favorite sambar recipes in our home.

Adding raw mangoes to sambar is must during mangoes season. Mangoes adds tangy taste to the sambar so reduce the tamarind extract. Though we make sambar using different veggies nothing can beat the taste of using Drumstick in sambar. Use shallots or chinna vengayam while making sambar to make it more flavorful. It goes well with rice, idli, dosa, uttapam or chapati too.

You should try Renu. I would say one of the best combination in sambhar.
