My first daughter deeksha likes crackers. She loves Marie biscuits, crackers and rusks. If you give her cream biscuits also she won't touch it. So crackers is something I bake whenever she demands or for school snacks. My second daughter is exactly opposite to her. She likes cakes, cream biscuits and chocolates. I used coconut oil but you can use any oil or even butter. I always skip baking soda in my cookies recipes but for crackers since we use very less fat adding baking soda makes it crispy. Let's see how to make these simple crackers.

Whole Wheat Crackers | Wheat Crackers recipe
Ingredients
- Wheat flour 1/2 cup
- Salt 1/8 tsp
- Coconut oil 1 tbsp
- Water 2-3 tbsp
- Baking soda 1/8 tsp
Instructions
- Take wheat flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl.
- Mix it nicely till it is combined.
- Add oil and mix it with your fingers so it looks like crumbs
- Now add water 1 tbsp at a time.
- Bring it together to form a dough
- Roll the dough thin
- Cut them as square or in any shape you like.
- Arrange them in baking tray
- Preheat the oven to 180 C and bake in same temperature for 7-10 minutes till it is done.
- Cool them and serve.
- Enjoy with hot cup of Tea/Coffee
