    Chicken Hakka Noodles Recipe | Indo Chinese Chicken Hakka Noodles Recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Chicken hakka noodles is indo chinese preparation of noodles with chicken, egg, vegetables and tossed with sauces. Saute the noodles with sauces in high flame to enhance the flavor. I used the leftover chicken pieces from gravy to make chicken noodles for dinner. You can boil the chicken and shred them or shallow fry them too.

    I can eat noodles for any course of the meal. It is absolute favorite and must dish when dining out. Enjoy them with tomato sauce or with Manchurian of your choice. Adjust the sauces according to your preference. I skipped green chilli since making for kids. I love to add finely chopped green chilli for me. Now let's check out how to make chicken hakka noodles.

    Chicken Hakka Noodles Recipe | Indo Chinese Chicken Hakka Noodles Recipe

    Chicken hakka noodles is indo chinese preparation of noodles with chicken, egg, vegetables and tossed with sauces.
    Prep Time 10 minutes minutes
    Cook Time 25 minutes minutes
    Total Time 35 minutes minutes

    Ingredients

    • Chicken 1 cup
    • Eggs 3
    • Onion 1
    • Carrot ½ cup
    • Capsicum ½ cup
    • Cabbage ½ cup
    • Garlic 4-5
    • Pepper powder 1 tsp
    • Salt 1 tsp or as required
    • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
    • Green chilli sauce 2 tsp
    • Vineger 1 tsp
    • Oil 2 tbsp

    Cooking Noodles

    • Noodles 200 grams
    • Water as required
    • Salt 1 tsp
    • Oil 1 tbsp

    Instructions

    • Boil water in a pot. Once it boils add the noodles, salt and 1 tsp oil.
    • Cook for 7-10 minutes till it is just cooked. Drain the water and run through cold water.
    • Once the water is drained add 2 tsp oil to noodles and mix so they don't stick to each other.
    • Heat oil in pan and add finely chopped garlic
    • Once it browns, add the onions, chopped carrot and saute in high flame for 3-4 minutes.
    • Then add eggs to it and scramble them.
    • Next add the shredded chicken and saute in high flame for a minute
    • Then add salt, pepper powder, soya sauce, chilli sauce and vineger and saute nicely for 1 minute.
    • Then add cooked noodles and saute in high flame till everything is combined.
    • Check the seasoning and add salt, pepper or sauces as required.
    • Hot Chicken hakka noodles is ready.

    Notes

    Check the cooking instructions and time for each type of noodles. It should be just cooked not too mushy.
    Add any veggies of your choice or skip them and add more chicken
    I always add capsicum and cabbage while making noodles. This time didn't have them in stock so skipped it. It does lends nice flavor to noodles.
    Add finely chopped green chilli to make it more hot.
    This is mild spicy suitable for kids. You can increase the pepper powder and sauces according to your preference.

    How to make Chicken Hakka Noodles with step by step pictures
