Dry Fruit Burfi Recipe | Dates Burfi | Sugar Free burfi recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Dry fruit Burfi is healthy and guilt free snack made with dates and different dry fruits. This is sugar free burfi and sweetness from dates is perfect for the recipe. One of the simple and easy recipe which you can try for Diwali.
I have used cashews, badam, pista and walnuts. You can use any dry fruits of your choice. You can add 3/4 cup of desiccated coconut for enriched taste. I skipped it this time. Try this guilt free burfi for Diwali.

Dry Fruit Burfi Recipe | Dates Burfi | Sugar Free burfi
Ingredients
- Dates 3 cups
- Cashews 1/2 cup
- Badam 1/2 cup
- Walnuts 1/2 cup
- Pista 1/4 cup
- Cardamom powder 1 tsp
- Poppy seeds 1.5 tbsp
- Ghee 1 tbsp
Instructions
- Finely chop the dates and take them in mixer.
- Pulse them few times and grind to coarse paste
- Take all nuts in mixer and pulse them few times. You can finely chop them too.
- Dry roast poppy seeds in kadai and keep it aside.
- Heat ghee and add the chopped nuts to it.
- Roast them for 4-5 minutes till crunchy.
- Add the dates mixture to it.
- Then add cardamom powder to it.
- Mix everything till combined and switch off the flame.
- Allow it to cool down and shape as cylindrical log greasing your hands.
- Then roll them in poppy seeds.
- Wrap them in parchment paper or foil and keep in fridge for 1-2 hours.
- After 1-2 hours, you can take out from fridge and cut them.
- Dry Fruits Burfi is ready.
