Kadai Mushroom Recipe | How to make Kadai Mushroom recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Mushroom Kadai is spicy and flavorful mushroom gravy made with freshly grounded kadai masala. Kadai is the pan which we use to cook all dishes. Capsicum and freshly grounded masala makes this dish so flavorful and delicious.
It goes well with any flavored rice or plain rice, roti, chapati, naan etc. Mushroom is slowly cooked in onions, tomato , cashew masala. Perfect recipe to make for parties or guests. You can prepare the kadai masala previous day and keep it handy to save time. Adjust the consistency of the gravy according to your preference. How to make Kadai Mushroom with step by step pictures
Dry roast all the ingredients for kadai masala till aromatic.
Cool down and take them in mixer. Grind to fine powder and keep it ready.
Wash and chop the mushrooms and dry them.
Take tomatoes and cashews in mixer.
Grind to smooth paste.
Take 1.5 tbsp oil in a wide pan.
Add mushrooms to it.
Add salt to it and shallow fry them till golden.
Remove to the plate and add remaining oil in the same pan. Add finely chopped onions to it and saute till golden.
Then add tomato cashew paste and saute for 5 minutes.
Next add the kadai masala and saute till oil separates.
Now add the capsicum
Add little water and allow it to boil.
Once capsicum is cooked, add the mushrooms and saute till all water is absorbed.
Finally add cream and kasuri methi and mix.
Garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
Kadai Mushroom is ready.
