Shallow fried Paneer Recipe | Easy Paneer fry recipe with step-by-step pictures and instructions. Paneer is marinated with basic spices and shallow fried. So simple and easy to make and it takes only 15 minutes to prepare this delicious dish. You can serve as finger food for kids.

  1. Cut the paneer as cubes. Soak in warm water if you are using a store-bought paneer.
  2. Take salt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and corn flour in a bowl.
  3. Sprinkle little water and form a thick paste.
  4. Add paneer cubes to it.
  5. Marinate and evenly coat the paneer
  6. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the paneer.
  7. Flip them and cook till golden.
  8. The shallow fried paneer is ready.

Notes

Adjust spices according to your choice

You can air fry them for 8-10 minutes at 200 C.

  • This is a one healthy snack. Sometimes the basic spices brings out the best taste. I like the addition of corn flour to coat the spices to paneer. Will try this tip next time.
  • I love this super simple paneer fry, just apt for those lazy dinners when you need some side with chapathis...
