Whole Wheat Butterscotch Cake Recipe | Butterscotch Cake with whipped Cream Frosting recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Learn how to make creamy and delicious butterscotch cake using wheat flour and decorated with whipped cream frosting, butterscotch sauce and praline. Cake is so soft and moist and taste so good. I made these cakes in cooker instead of oven and it came out so good. You can use pan with lid to make these cake instead of cooker too.
I always make cakes on occasions and every time like to try different flavors and design. I made this butterscotch cake for my brother wedding anniversary and everyone enjoyed them. You can enjoy this cake guilt free as it is free of refined flour and refined sugar. I used brown sugar, you can use any unrefined sugar. Nowadays I like to make wheat based cakes as they come out good and healthy too. Modified my wheat sponge cake base recipe to include butterscotch flavor. Whipped Cream is also flavored with butterscotch essence.

You can use ready made butterscotch chips instead of Praline
Add yellow color to get the same color as you get in shops
Freeze the cake till cutting as whipped cream cakes needs to be kept in fridge
Allow the cake to cool completely before cutting to get neat slices
You can skip the whipped cream and decorate only with butterscotch sauce and Praline too
