Quinoa Broken Wheat Dosa Recipe | Quinoa Cracked Wheat dosa with step-by-step pictures and instructions. Quinoa broken wheat dosa is crispy and delicious dosa made with quinoa, cracked wheat, and urad dal. This is a good alternative to dosas made with Rice. This is not an instant version as we need to soak them, grind them into a smooth batter, and allow them to ferment.
You can prepare dosa as soon as you prepare the batter too. But my personal preference is fermented batter as it tastes so good. You can use only quinoa or just cracked wheat or a combination of both to prepare this dosa. I always try different combinations for dosa. Serve it with chutney or Sambar.

Quinoa Broken Wheat Dosa Recipe | Quinoa Cracked Wheat dosa
Ingredients
- Quinoa 1 cup
- Broken wheat 1 cup
- Urad dal ½ cup
- Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
- Salt as required
- Oil for drizzling over dosa
Instructions
- Take all ingredients in a bowl.
- Wash them 2-3 times and then soak them for 3-4 hours.
- After 4 hours, drain the water and take them in a mixer along with salt.
- Add little water and grind to a smooth batter.
- Transfer to a bowl, close, and allow it to ferment for 6-8 hours.
- Once it is fermented it will increase little in volume.
- Mix water and adjust the consistency to dosa batter.
- Heat Kadai and spread the dosa batter and drizzle oil.
- Close and cook till it is crispy and golden. Fold and remove from the pan.
- Crispy and healthy dosa is ready.
- Enjoy it with a chutney/Sambar of your choice.

How to make Quinoa Broken Wheat dosa with step by step pictures
