Veg kathi roll Recipe | Vegetable Wraps Recipe | Veg Frankie Recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Veg Frankie is one of the popular street foods where veggies are wrapped in roti. We can add any veggies of our choice and season them with green chutney, Mayonnaise or tomato sauce. You can make this for quick breakfast, lunch, dinner or evening snacks.
This is quite filling and easy to make when you have some leftover chapati dough. You can stuff raw vegetables or cooked ones inside the chapati. You can slice them and pack for lunch or snacks for kids. I always use wheat flour or leftover chapati while making these rolls. You can use All purpose flour/Maida to make them similar to street side stalls. Now let's see how to make veg kathi rolls

Ingredients
- Leftover Chapati 5
- Carrot 1 medium
- Potato 1 small
- Broad beans 5-6
- Onion 1 small
- Oil 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Pepper powder ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder ¼ tsp
- Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
- Garam masala ¼ tsp
- Salt as required
- Green chutney as required
Instructions
- Heat oil, add all the veggies and saute in high flame for few minutes.
- Then add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala.
- Sprinkle water and allow it to boil.
- Once it is cooked and all water is absorbed, switch off the flame.
- Veg stuffing is ready.
- Take Leftover roti and you can heat them a little.
- Apply some green chutney on top of it.
- Then add the veg stuffing.
- Fold the bottom and then fold side as shown in the picture.
- Then roll the rest to form wraps.
- Wrap them in parchment paper or foil.
- Veg Frankie is ready.

How to make Veg Kathi Roll with step by step pictures
