I have already shared an easy way of preparing murukku flour in bulk. When I posted, many people asked me how I make murukku using that flour. Finally, after a long delay, I am posting the recipe. It is very easy to prepare for busy working people.

Instant Murukku Recipe | Murukku using Murukku flour
Ingredients
- Murukku flour 4 cups
- Cumin seeds 2 tsp
- Salt as required
- Butter 4 tbsp
- Hot oil 1 tbsp
Instructions
- Take Murukku flour in a bowl
- Add salt and cumin seeds to it.
- Add butter and rub it with the flour.
- Add hot oil to it.
- Mix it nicely and add water to it.
- Add water little by little and knead to smooth dough.
- Take murukku press and use a star or small round holes.
- Grease with oil and load the murukku press with dough.
- Press in a circular motion on the plate or back of the spoon. I used by idiyappam plate so it is easy to drop in oil.
- Heat oil in Kadai
- Fry the shaped murukku in hot oil till crisp and drain them in tissue.
- Cool them completely and store the murukku in an airtight container

How to make Instant Muruku flour with step by step pictures
