Next in my series of platter is hot bajji platter for evening snacks. Hot Bajji on rainy day is pure bliss. Bajji is most common snacks made in our home when we have some sudden carving or guests. Whenever we make bajji surely we won't stop with one variety. Minimum 3-4 varieties will come depending on the availability of veggies.
You can make different type of bajji using the same batter. Serve it with coconut chutney and filter coffee. Prepare and enjoy these easy and yummy fritters during monsoon season. It is such a quick and easy snack. You can make this platter in less than 30 minutes. Bajji platter includes the below varieties along with chutney and coffee.
Onion Bajji
Potato Bajji
Ajwain Bajji
Brinjal bajji
Molaga bajji
Mushroom Bajji
Capsicum Bajji

Bajji Platter | Evening snacks platter
Ingredients
- Besan flour 1.5 cup
- Corn flour ½ cup
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
- Hing ¼ tsp
- Baking soda ¼ tsp
- Salt as required
- Water as required
- Food color a pinch optional
Instructions
- Wash and slice all the veggies used for making bajji
- Take besan and corn flour in a bowl
- Add salt, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, hing and baking soda
- Add water little by little and mix to form batter.
- Batter should be smooth without any lumps
- Consistency of the batter should be neither too thin nor too thick
- Add pinch of food color if you are using.
- Mix and form the batter.
- Dip the sliced veggies in batter and drop them in hot oil
- Fry them till golden flipping in between.
- Drain them in tissue
- Enjoy with cup of hot Tea with chutney

How to make bajji platter with step by step pictures
Wash and slice all the veggies used for making bajji
